Euri B. Vidal

I painted as a kid. There is a watercolour paint I finished one month before turning 10 which surprised me. It was a painting of poppies. I did not take up painting until almost 30 years later, in October 2023, to make these illustrations.

In the meantime, I finished school and had the incredible priviledge of travelling to the tiny kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) in southern Africa to study the International Baccalaureate at Waterford Kamhlaba, an international school that was founded in 1963 for people of all races to study in Southern Africa at the peak of apartheid in South Africa.

After graduating in International Development in England, I went on to work in conservation projects in Madagascar and the Czech Republic and energy efficiency in South Africa. Travels took me to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland where I designed sustainability oriented projects.
